Help Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Solve Gun Crimes

Created by J.C. on January 20, 2013

The Federal Government shall enact a “well regulated” program to allow Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement to trace crimes committed with weapons manufactured in the United States. Said program shall mark all firearms, firearms' parts and ammunition sold in the U.S. and abroad with a traceable serial number or embedded chip. A database of said information shall be maintained by the ATF. Name, identification and biometric information (thumbprint, DNA, eye and/or retina scan) of all individuals in the supply chain shall be included in the database. The "supply chain" will include suppliers, manufacturers, transporters, wholesalers, resellers, retailers and customers. Said program shall be funded by a tax on firearms and ammunition sold within the United States.
