Regular federal workers have suffered financially through three years with zero increases in salary while living expenses have continued to rise. During that same period, many of us have been told by our leadership that there is not enough bonus money available. Many of us believe that management officials are receiving their share of available bonus money and are not being transparent with their employees when they explain why bonus amounts are low or non-existent. We hear the same story every year about pay increases and bonuses and then look at federal employee salary websites to see a different story.
