I think we are ignoring the trees for the forest and that most problems can be solved when we admit a few basic truths which we all agree on; nobody should be hurt, people deserve basic rights, etc...
So why doesn't everyone get the same rights and responsibilities? Lines on maps or people feeling like they are on different wavelengths stop us from achieving basic goals we all share: attaining happiness and love in harmony with one another.
