Help by making this the 28th amendment to the constition:

Amendment XXVII

Section 1
All gay, lesbians, and bisexual persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are looked upon as equal citizens of the United States and of the states wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall discriminate against any one person because of their sexual orientation which includes but is not limited to the privilege to marry, marriage equality , benefits equality, and equal punishments. Furthermore it is the state's responsibility to create laws in an effort to police the aforementioned activities for the sole purpose of providing equality across all walks of life for all citizens of the United States .
