After the establishment of the Genocide Convention, the United Nations said "never again" would they allow genocide. However, it does not look like they were completely true to that promise. People argue that other genocides have occurred since then, one of the most notable being the events that occurred in Rwanda. President Bill Clinton himself apologized to the people of Uganda for the inaction of the West in response to the genocide that occurred. Now, the world faces another genocide, in Darfur. 2013 marks the tenth year since the start of abuse in Darfur. Hundreds of thousands of people have been murdered and over 1 million have been affected or displaced from their homes. Humanitarian efforts continue to be blocked and the genocide is spreading across Sudan and into neighboring Chad
