Poverty is an overwhelming issue in this country. The amount of people that are out of work is too high, and the American Dream is not being lived the way it was intended. Our nation has been on a steady decline in past years. We are no longer the strong, independent people we once were. Having been blinded by greed and wild ambition, our infrastructure has crumbled and deteriorated. The first step to rebuilding this infrastructure, and all that it entails, is to start with the people of this nation. Jobs must be created at a faster pace, and the laziness that so many are accustomed to must be combatted. Our nation will only be as strong as the weakest aspect of it, and as of now we as a people are that aspect. The gutter is no place for a person. Let us as a nation end poverty, and help.
