We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Help Haiti rebuild PERMANENTLY.

Created by T.B. on July 13, 2016

The small third world Caribbean country of Haiti is still nowhere near recovery after the devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake that they suffered on January 12, 2010, nearly 6.5 years ago. The enormous earthquake destroyed what little infrastructure the already poor country had, and many of the citizens are either too poor or too hopeless to help rebuild. The United States Agency of International Development (US AID), sent many tarps and temporary shelter type things to help immediately after, yet did nothing to help with permanent reconstruction. This petition is to get them to send construction materials and tools over to Haiti, so that they can build permanent structures and fully recover, and truly start to fix their broken country.
