Help the Hampton Roads area of Southeast Virginia with Transit services through Hampton Roads Transit.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Southeastern Virginia had been hit with a terrible snow storm which put close to a feet a snow in some areas. As of today, January 30, 2014, media casts report that roads are passible excluding secondary roads. Main roads are where most of the bus stops are in the area. Tom Holden, the director of transit for Hampton Roads Transit states that their are lots of ice and snow on the bus stops where the main roads are passible. People in the area rely on the bus system and are willing to go to stops on the main road but Tom states that its best to wait for the cities (Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth) plows to take care of the snow on the bus stops and HRT not move the snow. People rely on services immensely.
