I took the President’s advise and REFINANCED under HARP in March-2011. At the time, even with EXCELLENT Credit History, I was only reduced to 5.375%. Later, interest rates came crashing down. When I asked to ReFi again, I was told that it CANNOT be done because the RULES say that if I have obtained the loan AFTER 2009, I cannot ReFi under HARP.
This is NOT FAIR as my mortgage is still under water, I HAVE NEVER MISSED a PAYMENT and my Credit History is EXCELLENT.
Mr President, is this how you want to HELP the middle class?
