People in prisons and jail often need help getting back on their feet, they need support so that they do not go back. Providing these services to help make them become better people, employed people, straight people, helps them avoid their next trip to the can. We should reach out to those who want help and want to become better to be better. Saves huge amount of money and does the right thing in the spirit of forgiveness. We have by far more people in prison and jail then any other country in the world. This is a huge resource expenditure especially considering most of these people will only land back in prison or jail to repeat the process. We are better then this and so are they. More and better rehabilitation services for those incarcerated! It is right and will pay off.
