The Turkish government is utilizing the failed coup to suspend the rights of its citizens in purges reminiscent of past fascist governments. We must aid those most in danger of becoming victims of the administration. Please make legal routes for those most in danger to evacuate the country before it is too late. Please consider offering refugee sanctuary and loosening visa requirements to those Turks in need. We cannot watch the collapse of a democracy and leave those who support it without options to leave.
