Politicians are like diapers; they should be changed often and for the same reason. In recent times there have been several definitive protest movements within this nation. With the passing if widely unpopular pieces of legislation, such as The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the National Defense Authorization Act, those who have been elected to speak for us, the American People, no longer do so. This is why I propose that all Elected Federal US officials (e.g. US Senators and Representatives) should be limited to their time in office. The longer a politician remains in office the more likely that individual shall succumb to corruption. This regular change of politicians will allow the people to have more power and voice within their government.
