Help Iranian graduate students obtain permanent resident status and receive limited student loans covering tuition.

The sanctions (and current exchange rate) on Iran regarding their nuclear programs have had a particularly negative impact on those who have chosen to study in the United States. Many of them have come here not just because they want the best possible education in their field, but also due to the oppressive nature of the regime in their home country. However, some are still reliant on their families for financial support while they are studying and cannot receive government backed student loans. Allowing a visa status that would qualify for tuition cost only student loans would substantially ease the burden on them and show a solidarity with the Iranian people, while maintaining a tough stance on the government. It would also serve to retain talented people who choose to come to the US.
