In 2009 our unit, Bravo Company 2nd/112th deployed to Iraq. As you are probably aware, US and allied forces employed Iraqi Nationals as translators on a daily basis.
Many of these individuals served alongside US and coalition forces for years and in some cases lost their lives along with Americans. As the situation in Iraq continues to deteriorate, these interpreters and their families run the risk of becoming targets. We are seeking your assistance with the Special Immigrant Visa application process for one of the men who served as our interpreter . Othman Mohan Muaawin AL-Janabi, known to us as Justin Swat, is currently living and working in Baghdad. He is attempting to leave Iraq with his wife and their two year old daughter. Please help us bring this hero home.
