Victims of Domestic Violence should have the option of having free lawyers to help with child custody battles. These victims have already been through so much and have the courage to speak out but then no money, power or knowledge of the legal system to keep up the fight to be safe and provide a safe environment for their children. Why should criminal's get a free lawyer but victims have to pay form a lawyer to fight for their safe. After many of the have no or little money to even move away from their Abuse's let alone get a lawyer. This is one of the reasons so many victims go back to the abuser because of fear the can't afford legal help and they are afraid to lose their children!
