The LGBT community are being discriminated against in Russia. They are being beaten and hunted like animals. Now the government is trying to pass a law that will allow them to take children away from same sex couples. They are only ripping families apart. Russia does not have a foster care system, and their orphanages are not safe. Since they are allowing fewer and fewer groups of people adopt Russian children (i.e. USA, same sex couples in other countries), the amount of children in their orphanages will increase dramatically.
Our president preaches about human rights, and has tried to hard to get equal rights for the American LGBT community, but he hasn't done anything to help those who need it most. We need to find a way to help those families escape before they are torn apart.
