Help Lower-Middle Class Families With Disabled Children Receive Aid By Expanding The Monthly Income Eligibility Bracket

Created by A.L. on October 26, 2011

Currently, a lower-middle class family of three (annual income $35,000) with a disabled child does not qualify for Family Medicaid, SSI for the child, EMOD grants and other state and county sources of aid because the bracket for monthly income eligibility is too low. Please raise the eligibility threshold to reflect the state of today's economy, therefore making aid available to more low-income families.
