In only the past 5 years the price of tuition has doubled, even tripled, in many colleges around the country. As a result many students are graduating from college with a debt that is hard to get out of. The cost of going to college has increased dramatically yet wages have stayed the same. The administration should do something about the rise in tuition. There should be a ceiling on what colleges charge and if possible a return to a more affordable tuition. If anything, all colleges public or private should be required to be transparent about how much money is coming in and where it is being spent. That way students are more aware of where their money is going and if the tuition they are paying is fair.
