help make it illegal to use credit scores to base rates for insurance and determine eligibility of employment

Using Credit scores to determine insurance rates such as auto does not reflect the driving record of the person and should be against the law. Rates increase causing more financial stress on people who might have to resort to driving without insurance to make ends meet.
Also using credit scores to determine the eligibility of an employee should also be illegal unless the position involves money. The economy has hurt too many people which affects their credit rating which in turn makes it very difficult to gain a job, which leads to a vicious spiral causing many to lose their homes and cars.
Please make it illegal for companies to check credit scores to determine if someone is a qualified candidate for a job. Credit rating does not tell you about whether the person is a hard worker.
