Swatting is the act of tricking an emergency service (via such means as hoaxing a 9-1-1 dispatcher) into dispatching an emergency response based on the false report of an ongoing critical incident usually a person shooting. It is common act used to harass streamers and youtubers although has not caused the death of someone yet it can and will lead to a person dying from it. I purpose making swatting from a petty crime to attempted murder because one day soon if this is not stop someone will die.
