Help the Middle Class Citizens recover from Super Storm Sandy

I am one of many middle class Americans desperatly seeking assistance to recover from our loss with storm Sandy.
Those already receiving government assistance have received grants from FEMA and other organizations... What about the middle class?
It appears that if you worked hard and had an ounce of something... and lost it ... our government will give you nothing. Stop punishing those who work, pay taxes and try to make a decent living. We need help now too!!! I am not proud to stand in line with my hand out, but the fact is I can not responsibly take a "loan" to rebuild what we once had when we already owe loans (some of us upside down or no equity). If the small businesses and mom and pop landloards can not rebuild, others will have no place to live and conduct business.
