Help move forward the Readable Legislation Act, H.R. 760 and become law.

Created by D.R. on July 31, 2013

Accepting the mantle of stewardship of an informed constituent within the United States is obstructed by the need to view, seemingly, every potential bill with a copy of the US Code, the Contstitution and between 10-12 hours. Somewhere in the span of trying to stay reasonably informed, one might be expected to work and raise a family. The administration and Congress should be finding ways to allow people to be better informed through their OWN understanding of potential legislation, not through recitation of talking points. There is an effort being put forward to make legislation more readable, and who knows, maybe legislators can read a bill BEFORE they vote on it also. I will watch with tremendous interest to see who or what block of legislators makes the effort to move this bill forward
