The specific protections signed by Obama in HR 933 which bars federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of controversial genetically modified (aka GMO) or genetically engineered (GE) needs to be either repealed or nullified.
There has not been enough research to determine if GMO's are healthy in the long term, and the company producing them (Monsanto and other's) should be held accountable.
This is a country for the people, and not for big business. We need to protect people's health and do the research before protecting a company for litigation.
