We feel it is the right and responsibility of every parent, guardian, or adult who cares for a child to understand the risks, policies and procedures by which their children are protected. We feel that they deserve the name of a “single point of responsibility,” within each school, and at each higher administrative level who is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of such policies.
Realizing that we live in a rapidly changing society, we understand that such policies may not currently exist, or that they might be currently under review. In that event, we ask to be provided with a date when such policies are expected to be available, and a “single point of responsibility” who will provide assurance that the date will be met.
