With increasing educational expenses, parochial school tuition is thousands of dollars per student, thus limiting parents with the ability to send their children to the school of their choice. Whereas the Constitution does not recognize the establishment of a religion, it does recognize the rights of people to learn about and practice their religion, which is one of the foundations of this nation. .Parents must pay tuition and are not freed from paying taxes to support public schools. This situation is in direct opposition to the intent of the constitution which sought to insure the welfare of all the country’s inhabitants Government aid should be given to parochial schools. Parents should be given tax credits. Consider what is proper for the country’s welfare and amend the law.
