HELP THE PEST CONTROL INDUSTRY'S PARTICIPATION IN SAVING THE HONEY BEE!

Created by L.F. on June 25, 2014

WHEREAS THE HONEY BEE IS DYING THROUGHOUT AMERICA. Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) is a serious problem threatening the health and survival of honey bees which in turn is now negatively impacting the economic stability of the plant, the fruit and the nut tree farming industry; as well as commercial beekeeping and pollination operations in the United States. The total number of managed honey bee colonies has decreased from 5 million in the 1940s to only 2.5 million today. At the same time, the call for hives to provide pollination services has continued to increase.

WHEREAS THE FOODS HUMANS EAT ARE LIMITED IN PRODUCTION DUE TO THE DEVASTATING LOSS OF THE AMERICAN BEE.

PROBLEM: PEST CONTROL COMPANIES DESTROY HIVES.
SOLUTION: REMOVE AND RELOCATE HIVES TO SAFER LOCATIONS.
