Help prevent immigrants who fraudulently marry U.S. Citizens for the sole purpose of gaining legal entry into the U.S.

I'm not sure of the statistics, and can only speak on behalf of my own personal experience regarding this matter. i am a victim of this form of fraud, and have discovered that there is very little that i can do without implicating myself. My five year long turmultuous and emotionally abusive relationship to a Haitian immigrant will come to an end in divorce despite all my efforts to keep it together. This individual brought me to my knees, and had numerous affairs while neglecting my son and i. He was previously married and his first wife didn't go through with it, and he was desperate when he met me and basically faked an entire relationship just to avoid deportation. He would've just kept finding vulnerable women to prey on until he got his way. And there's thousands more just like him.
