Private Student Loan borrowers are trapped in an endless cycle of debt. Many companies that so freely handed out private loans now offer NO options to refiance for borrowers making payments on time. They force students to keep high interest rates and variable rates not allowing them to ever plan for the future. Students that went to school to become active members of society should not be punished for doing what is right. I took out loans and am paying my loans, I pay half of my salary to private loans and half to taxes. It shouldn't be this way, congress needs to step in and do what is right!
