help protect endangered species in the St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park.

A certain area in Martin County, Florida is flourishing with endangered species and deserves more attention. The St. Lucie Inlet Park, is accessible by boat or kayak, and is open to the public. There are three entrances(by water) to the park, these areas are covered in sea grass and other marine flora, these are a manatee's favorite thing to eat. Naturally, there are many manatees gathered in these areas. The problem is there are no Slow Speed/ No Wake Zone markers to signify these areas as protected, which endangers manatees. Currently there is a fleet of dredging barges that are constantly spilling garbage into the water, which the current then pulls directly into the park. Aside from manatees, there is a huge variety of fish, marine fowl, and mangroves keeping the barrier islands intact
