As of 2016, American waterways are becoming more valuable than ever. Recent media attention over the contamination in Michigan, the accidental pollution of the Animas River, and the increasing skepticism regarding the natural gas industry, citizens are becoming more aware of the continuing risks that many of our water sources face.
With this petition, my aim is to bring focus to the issue asking The Administration to support our state's efforts to reduce pollution in our water supply's and improve overall water ecology. State and local government agencies have been left in charge of these precious waterways, and the data shows that they are not doing very good jobs. Address this issue, we need the White House to re-energize our state's to work towards improving water quality.
