The internet is a very pure distillation of the tenants of Capitalism - equal opportunity. People have made billions on the internet after spending a few months in their computer room, and connected the entire globe in a unified voice for change from their broken down hut in Africa. The Web is a source of opportunity for anyone with an idea.
However there are providers that have tried to stymie such an equality by turning back the throttle for sites that have not paid a premium, or heavily censoring content creators, making it difficult for new ideas to be showcased to the world
While the petition is not for the complete resistance of throttling laws or censorship, Net Neutrality should be a specific option listed on this website. Listed right between Telecommunications and Human Rights
