Help protect school music and arts programs and make the Arts a recognized co-curricular subject.

Created by D.S. on July 03, 2013

Music and arts related subjects are being removed from school systems across the country every year. More money is being appropriated to school athletics programs than to school music and arts which has been proven by research to benefit students mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. The arts are also proven to be beneficial to the reinforcement of other subjects such as literature, history, science, and mathematics. Children who participate in the arts are more likely to be in the top percentage of their classes and be leaders within their schools. We need to promote the arts and humanities in our schools, as well as other core subjects. Don't let any more schools eliminate a beneficial part of our students' education.
