Puerto Rico is facing a huge economic crisis. They are at risk of defaulting on their debt. People are fleeing to the mainland in droves. Pensions are at risk. We are not asking for a bailout, but for the tools to get ahead. Pass the bill to allow the island's corporations access to Chapter 9. Send people to help administer their finances. Make a decision on the statua. Don't ignore the citizens living there. They deserve better.
