On July 18, 2013 Detroit filed the single largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history. As of now, the debt is estimated to be anywhere between $18-$20 billion dollars in total. Infrastructure in Detroit is crumbling to the ground as we speak. This city is home to around 700,000 people. Over he years, Detroit has been plagued by a wave of crime, murder, and chaos, leaving the people destroyed. USA, if you can give Israel $38 billion in military aid, why can't you rebuild your own city? This petition is for the people suffering in Detroit to have a future, instead of dealing with daily shootings and crime.
