While we realize that student debt holders are never going to get the bailout that big business did years ago, we still would like some help in eliminating our debts. This is information I've gathered from Elizabeth Warren's efforts. Why is it so hard to reduce the current interest rate of 6.25% to 2%? The simple decrease would save so much money & allow students to begin to make dents in the snowball that is their student loan debt. Today I read that Elizabeth Warren's Student Loan Refinancing Proposal was blocked by Senate! Not one member besides EW is interested in helping it's own citizens strive to become debt free. This is extremely disheartening as someone with a student debt approaching $100k. Please sign this petition and let the White House know our disappointment and disapproval
