There is something wrong with our system when one single person decides what will be voted on and what won't. The whole reason for a vote in the first place is to see what the majority of the people want. Just because Boehner doesn't want to extend benefits shouldn't give him the right to stop a vote on the house floor. while Boehner and house conservatives want to put a fork in the EUC bill, when it comes to helping their corporate pals, it's a whole different story. Their are families starving, children going to bed hungry, people losing their homes, on the verge of throwing in the towel. Most of them just need a recharge to get back on the right track.
