Let’s have a vote and pass the Paul Ryan budget. Whoever votes for the budget would see federal dollars stop going to their congressional districts. This will reduce Federal spending. Whoever votes AGAINST the budget, taxes would go up in those districts. This tax increase would provide revenue to help reduce the budget deficit which everyone agrees needs to be addressed. It’s time for change. Everyone agrees we need a budget and the deficit is a real problem. We are in fact a democracy. Let’s act like one and do our best to give everyone what they voted for. There is a clear delineation in US Congressional districts after gerrymandering so implementing this new idea should gain majority support across most districts in the country.
