Help restart production of the iBOT wheelchair to spark jobs and enhance the lives of disabled Americans and veterans.

Created by B.B. on August 01, 2013

The iBOT is a revolutionary motorized wheelchair developed by Dean Kamen, best known as the inventor of the popular Segway two-wheeled self-balancing vehicles common to parks, outdoor malls, and bike paths everywhere.

The iBOT enables its operator a freedom of mobility, over curbs, up and down stairs and across rough terrain unmatched by any other wheelchair ever produced.

If you saw President George H.W. Bush's recent appearance on the Today Show, you saw an iBOT... sadly, one of the last. Production of iBOTs unfortunately ceased in 2009. Parts for current iBOTs will only be available until the end of 2013.

Americans can and should be manufacturing iBOTs by the millions. Enhance the lives of disabled Americans and veterans! Create jobs! Lead innovation! Export! Go USA! Go iBOT!
