A campaign contribution may only be made by a voter who is registered to vote in the specific upcoming election. A voter may not contribute to a campaign for which he or she is not registered and eligible to vote and no candidate for any public office may accept campaign contributions from any person or entity who is not registered and eligible to vote. This applies to all levels of elections and all candidates for any public office.
