to help retired, semi-retired or displaced older workers get college degrees for environmental jobs for a greener USA.

Created by R.M. on February 14, 2013

The President wants to make a greener America, reduce global emissions, provide sustainability and reduce dependence on oil. For this, there is a plan that I have come up with. People who are displaced, out of work, older Americans, retired or semi retired Americans can be given grants and special loans to get a college degree in environmentally-related fields (environmental studies, science, engineering, education, etc.) and as a condition of forgiving or reducing their student loans they have to spend a certain amount of years working in the environmental sector or for the government in this field. The most important thing we can do for future generations is to require training them from grades 1 to 12 about the environment, the science, and how important it is for their future.
