Something has to be done about the finding of a 1970 Cuda 440 in the possesion of another owner in Portland Oregon. The vehicle was stolen out of the garage of Rick and Jackie White 13 years ago, it was reported to the police. 13 years later they received a letter in the mail from Budget Towing in Northeast Portland stating that the vehicle had been in storage at their facility and that if they didn't pay what was owed it would be auctioned. When they went to pay the car it was paid for a removed by it's so called current owner. In a nutshell , current Oregon law states that there is a 3 year limit for prosecution. As it stands now, the police can't do anything. Something needs to be done in order to help these nice folks get their property back.
