We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Help the Rising Problem of Adult Obesity.

Created by K.A. on September 22, 2016

Adult obesity is a problem that gets overlooked way too often. Adults unknowingly damage their health on a daily basis because there's an overall apathy towards health education. Americans are at risk of major health issues daily, but we can combat that with the help of government programs. These include creating updated nutrition guidelines so adults don't suffer from overnutrition and know what they're putting in their bodies. There should be small and marginal incentives to use health food apps. Most importantly, there should be a National Health Day. A day where people can educate themselves on good health habits and where the government can partner with health food and apparel chains to offer discounts and incentives for people to exercise, move more, and eat healthier.
