the axolotl salamanders are a critically endangered species who are nearly extinct in their native habitat (mexico). they have fascinating characteristics in the way they grow and research could help medicine. the number of them in the wild are decreasing due to the invasive species, Asian carp and pollution we could fund the EPA to work with the Mexican government to rebuild habitat, breed in captivation, and save these amazing creatures.
