Help save South Carolina motorcyclists' lives

Created by C.C. on November 08, 2011

The current South Carolina state law states that persons under the age of 21 must wear a helmet while operating a motorcycle. I want this to be changed. ANYONE of any age should be required to wear a helmet. Motorcycles are the most dangerous type of motor vehicle to drive. Motorcyclists were 35 times more likely than passenger car occupants to die in a crash in 2006. I take this very personally and want action taken to protect those that we love who drive motorcycles.
