The WatchDOGs (Dad's of Great Students) is a program that allows fathers or any other male role model to volunteer their time in the school. We help students and teachers by assisting kids with reading, flash cards and anything else the teacher needs help with. Also, having the program inside the schools provides our children with another level of security. We monitor the halls, the perimeter of the school and help with getting kids on and off busses safely. Background checks are done on each volunteer to assure the right people are helping our children. Fathers.com has all the information needed to bring the program into the school. There are fees for purchasing kits and t-shirts for the dads to wear. Federal funding will help make this program available to all kids. Thank you.
