As of now the PS4 only utilizes the camera for face recognition to log in users, voice commands to navigate the console, and audio for in game chat or chat party features. We the people, longtime customers, and supporters of Sony would like for them to incorporate the camera to have use and functionality as a video chat accessory. Having an audience all around the world with people who communicate with each other from all corners and spectrums would greatly appreciate the ability to chat face to face with their friends and loved ones. The technology is there, the resources are available, and we would like to implore Sony to take the time to create the ability for video chat parties and in game video chat functionality.
