Recently, we have seen antibiotic resistance appearing across the globe. This is due to the food industry penning up thousands of animals within close proximity in large enclosed environments. The average life span of the human has increased 10 fold over the last 100 years and this is 100% thanks to antibiotics, but once antibacterial resistance is more abundant, we will be right back to dying before we are 40 from simple infections. No surgery would be without strong risk of death, every cut, bruise, broken/sprained bone would put your life in jeopardy.
