After 7 killed and 3 dozen injured on fathers day 2013, Chicago's violence has to be addressed. Gang patrols and anti-violence campaigns by the Chicago Police Department have failed countless times and now the White House has to act to stop this from spreading. Reminiscent of a third world militia controlled city, Chicago's south side is a better fit of a war zone than an American city. Gang's control blocks and regardless of age, race, or gender violence occurs everyday by just walking down the street. Mr Obama needs to address this issue that is plaguing his home city.
