An estimated 23% of women on college campuses are sexual assaulted. However, fewer than a third of students found guilty of these assaults are expelled. Around 17% are merely suspended. Rape is a crime and offenders should be convicted just like all others.
However, many educational institutions care more about their reputation and revenue than the safety of their students. These institutions have an obligation to protect their students and provide them with the education they deserve.
Please help end the culture of unchecked sexual assault on college campuses by creating a task force to investigate these incidences.
