Help students, by forbearing 50% of student loans, if the balance is paid within a two to five year period of time.

Created by A.P. on September 30, 2015

Forbearance of 50% of amounts owed to FAFSA. If students pledge payment of balance within a 2 to 5 year period. This will allow people to opt in or stay paying prescribed amounts over a period of 20+ years. This will be an option for students and those who opt in will have the opportunity to apply whatever they have paid to the balance of the 50% pending.

The benefit would be to recover 50% of the amount owed, within a short period of time, and not spread it over a 20 year period of time, cash inflow means money is recovered faster, people could become debt-free in a shorter period influencing the economy by allowing more people to spend more rather than be saving to pay off loans in the long run.
